Arizona National Golf Club (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson, Arizona’s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings.
Canoa Ranch is a great example of how the Southwestern desert can be transformed into a golfer`s paradise without destroying the beauty of the surrounding native land.
Canoa Ranch boasts dramatic elevation changes, strategic bunkering and spectacular views of Elephant Head.
Designed by Schmidt-Curley Designs, Canoa Ranch has five sets of tee boxes (ranging from 4,500 yards to 7,013 yards) for all levels of golf.
Tucson golfers greatly appreciate the natural beauty of a high course that rests at an elevation of 3,400 feet - five degrees cooler than Tucson during the summer. Seven lakes at come into play on six holes, affecting a variety of shots: some drives, several approaches - just enough to put a little spice into the round. Strong bunkering around the greens adds to the challenge. It all ends with a tough uphill par-4, 421-yard finishing hole that has water in play for two shots.
The Conquistador Course
The resort's premier course, the 18-hole Conquistador is a 6,801-yard par 71 with a rating of 72.7 and a slope of 126. Recently renovated, the course provides an exceptional golf experience for all skill levels. The re-shaped fairways and greens create an exceptionally playable course. The new 419 Tiffway hybrid Bermuda turf allows for better lies on the fairways and Tiff Eagle on the greens produces truer and quicker putts.
Forty Niner Country Club is an upscale semi-private facility designed by William Francis Bell. The golf course opened in 1961 and though not as demanding as the many desert-style courses in the Tucson area, the tree lined fairways and tightly guarded doglegs pose the same challenges it did more than 35 years ago when the golf club hosted the PGA Tour's Tucson Open.
This course requires many uphill shots because of its elevation changes. The greens are well manicured. The tree-lined fairways are very narrow. The Santa Cruz River can be seen from the course, but it does not come into play. However, there is a creek and a pond that come into play on two holes.
Built on the historic Simmons Ranch, the Palo Duro Creek Golf Course is laid out in desert canyons and foothills, and finishes with three holes bordering one of Arizona's few natural wetlands. The course has classic high desert vegetation and year-round water that attracts many species of rare birds and other wildlife.
The course also features steep grades, elevated tees, and some of the finest walk-mowed greens in the state.
Pusch Rico is part of the 45 holes at The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort. The El Conquistador is the largest and most popular Tucson, Arizona golf resort.
The dramatic views of the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Tucson valley below provide a truly memorable golf experience. Each of our Tucson golf courses provides challenging play for golfers of all skill levels.
